Work is continuing at Wain Park as Phase 1 improvements progress in the northeast quadrant of the park.
Over the coming weeks, Parks crews will be completing several improvements, including:
- Grading and levelling around the new picnic shelter
- Installation of picnic tables
- Paving of the parking lot
- Tree planting and irrigation
- Construction of park trails
Work is expected to continue into October.
Parking Lot Access
Please be advised that the Birch Road parking lot remains partially closed while construction is underway. The Wain Road parking lot remains open and available for park users.
