Apply for a North Saanich Advisory Body, Peninsula Advisory Body, or Board

Connect with your community and make an impact! By joining a Community Committee, you will share your voice and experience and provide recommendations to Council on issues affecting North Saanich. Serving on a committee is a rewarding experience. Regular meeting attendance is required.

The District of North Saanich is accepting applications from residents interested in serving on the following Community Advisory Bodies:

Submit your Advisory Body application, including an outline of your qualifications and experience, to the Director of Corporate Services by email: commissions@northsaanich.ca.

Yes, webcasts are available from a link on the District's Meeting Portal. Webcasts are available by noon on the day after each Council Meeting.

If you would like Council to address an issue, please write a letter to the Mayor and Councillors, 1620 Mills Road, North Saanich, BC V8L 5S9 outlining your issue. Staff will then determine if the item should be considered at a Council meeting or if it can be handled administratively. The deadline for submissions is noon on the Wednesday prior to the Monday Council meeting. For more information on Council meetings, please visit the Meeting Portal.

All reports and supporting documents which appear on open Council meeting or Committee of the Whole agendas are available on the Meeting Portal. Use the search from within the portal to search for specific documents. You may also obtain hard copies of all documentation at the Municipal Hall (photocopying charges will apply). Please contact the Corporate Services Department through e-mail for further information regarding agenda items.
