Full road closure
McDonald Park Road from Mills Road to Glamorgan Road will be closed for overnight paving from 6 p.m. on Friday, September 25, to 6 a.m. Saturday, September 26.

A large section of McDonald Park Road, extending from the Sandown Shopping Centre to the new Amazon building is shared with the Town of Sidney. In 2023, The District completed significant improvements on the North Saanich side of the road including multi-use path and storm drain improvements.
The Town of Sidney has been undertaking improvements on the east side of the road, including storm drain, curb and sidewalk upgrades. As part of this work, the entire width of the road will be resurfaced with a new layer of asphalt, with funding support from the District.
Council has waived enforcement provisions of the District of North Saanich Noise Bylaw No. 1383 (2015) from Thursday, September 24 to Friday, October 2, 2026, providing a window for one night of full road closure and overnight paving.
