NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Section 59(3) of the Community Charter, a Council meeting will be held in the North Saanich Municipal Hall Council Chambers, 1620 Mills Road, North Saanich, BC, on Monday, January 12, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., to allow the public to make verbal or written representation to Council with respect to the following:
- Inter-Community Business Licence Bylaw No. 1592, 2025, and
- Repeal of District of North Saanich Inter-Community Business License Bylaw No. 1474
The District intends to adopt the proposed District of North Saanich Inter-Community Business Licence Bylaw No. 1592, 2025, and repeal the District of North Saanich Inter-Community Business License Bylaw No. 1474.
The purpose of the Inter-Community Business License Bylaw is to support stronger local and regional economies by allowing eligible businesses to operate in multiple participating communities under a single licence, reducing administrative requirements and associated costs. The program operates through a set of common bylaws adopted by each partner municipality.
