Resilience Planning Project

OVERVIEW

This project is a resilience planning case study in the District of North Saanich, conducted by University of British Columbia PhD Candidate Tugce Conger. This case study, as part of Tugce Conger’s PhD dissertation, investigates the role of non-structural flood protection measures as a resilience-building tool. The project uses scenario development, visualization, and participatory planning methods as its means to develop and identify community appropriate flood protection strategies.
