Water Main Breaks
Water mains run underground below the streets and boulevards throughout North Saanich and connects to the water meter at the property line of your home. If you see water gushing onto the street, a water main or water service line may have broken. Please contact our Public Works department right away:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.: 250-656-0781
- After hours, including statutory holidays: 250-920-9235
If there is a water leak near the meter box, please call Public Works. We will check the leak to determine whether the leak is on public or private property. If the leak is after the water meter it is the homeowners responsibility to fix.
