Help shape North Saanich’s Climate Plan
Community Workshop
How can we prepare for a changing climate, reduce emissions and improve everyday life in North Saanich?
The District is developing its first Climate Action Plan to help our community prepare for climate impacts while reducing energy use and greenhouse gas emissions.
Join neighbours, local businesses and community organizations for short presentations and small-group table discussions. Share your experiences, ideas and priorities to help shape practical actions for North Saanich.
Together, we’ll explore:
- Preparing for climate impacts: How can we strengthen our preparedness for extreme heat, wildfires, flooding and drought?
- Reducing emissions and energy use: What actions make sense for our homes, businesses and community?
- Supporting everyday well-being: How can these actions also lower energy costs, improve health and protect our natural environment—and what supports are needed?
Everyone’s perspective is welcome.
