Applications for mail ballots must be submitted no later than 2:00pm on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, for Canada Post delivery. Mail Ballots must be returned to the Chief Election Officer before 8:00pm on General Voting Day (Saturday, October 17, 2026). If your application is complete and you qualify to vote by mail, a mail ballot package will be sent to you as soon as ballots are available.
- Mail ballot packages are expected to be available for delivery after September 23
- Mail ballot packages will be available for pick-up only, after 9:00am on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at Municipal Hall.
- Mail ballots may be obtained by:
- Canada Post standard mail (applications received on or before 2:00pm October 6, 2026), or
- In-person pickup at Municipal Hall during regular business hours, 8:00am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays.
You are responsible for ensuring that your completed ballot and documents are received by the Chief Election Officer, or designate, before the close of voting at 8:00pm on Saturday, October 17, 2026, (General Voting Day).
If your name is not on the Voters List at the time you apply for a mail ballot, you will be required to complete an application to register as a Resident Elector OR an application to register as a Non-Resident Property Elector, whichever applies.
