Blue Heron Park, owned and managed by the Memorial Park Society, is a 16-hectare park that is popular for outdoor sporting events such as baseball and soccer. Facilities at the park include playing fields, picnic tables, public toilets, and walking trails. The vehicle entrance to Blue Heron Park is located north of Parklands School off McDonald Park Road.
