Whole Community Agricultural Strategy

The Whole Community Agricultural Strategy (WCAS) is a set of municipal and community actions designed to promote both traditional and non-traditional agriculture. The creation of the original strategy included an Agricultural Ideas Fair and Planning Workshop in 2010 to consider and prioritize actions to be undertaken by the District and the community to promote agriculture. The WCAS was designed to be an ongoing and evolving discussion focused on the effort to achieve local food self-reliance.
