VOTE BY MAIL BALLOT
Registered electors (resident or non-resident) may vote by mail if they:
- have a physical disability, illness or injury that affect their ability to vote at another voting opportunity; OR
- expect to be absent from the District of North Saanich on general voting day (October 20, 2018) and at the times of all advance voting opportunities (October 10 and 17).
Electors must complete and submit an application form to the District of North Saanich in order to receive a mail ballot.
Application to request to Vote by Mail Ballot will be available August/September.
It is anticipated the District will be able to send out mail ballot packages commencing on or about October 1.
IMPORTANT:To be counted, your mail ballot MUST be received by the Chief Election Officer at the District of North Saanich Municipal Hall (1620 Mills Road) by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 19, 2018 or arrange for the ballot to be hand delivered to the Chief Election Officer at Municipal Hall between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2018.
