Transportation routes within the District of North Saanich are provided by an extensive municipal road network and the Patricia Bay Highway which links the District to the City of Victoria, 25 kilometres to the south. Providing a link from North Saanich and southern Vancouver Island to the mainland of British Columbia, the Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal is located at the north end of the Patricia Bay Highway. The District is also home to the Victoria International Airport which provides air transportation services to and from southern Vancouver Island.
