| Highway 17 Joint Peninsula Steering Committee |
The next Highway 17 Joint Peninsula Steering Committee meeting will be held Thursday June 10, 2010 commencing at 3:00 p.m. in the Central Saanich Fire Training Centre. The public is welcome to attend. Individuals or organizations wishing to correspond with the Committee are invited to direct their correspondence to the attention of the Committee, care of the Municipal Halls of either North Saanich, Central Saanich, Sidney or the Tsawout First Nation.
The Highway 17 Joint Peninsula Steering Committee is comprised of Political, Staff and Community Representatives from the District of Central Saanich, The District of North Saanich, The Town of Sidney, and the Tsawout First Nation. The objective of the Steering Committee is to identify and prioritize a package of recommended intersection and access / egress improvements for the portion of the Highway 17 (Patricia Bay Highway) traffic corridor located north of the Saanich / Central Saanich boundary to the Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal.
