Anny has lived in North Saanich for almost 20 years and has been a school teacher, riding instructor and business person. She now owns historic Glamorgan Farm, established in 1870, and is in the process of restoring the ten log barns on the 8.5 acres, built from original Saanich timber. The farm is home to heritage livestock, heirloom varieties of fruit and produce (grown by a group of mentally challenged adults), the Sidney/North Saanich allotment garden plots, and a large herb garden. A farm market/gallery/cafe is planned for the near future.
Anny's interests are kayaking, horseback riding, cycling and walking her dogs. Anny recently wrote the book “Home” based on North Saanich rural character, heritage and lifestyle. The illustrations are by her parents, official Canadian War artists, Bruno and Molly Bobak. Anny’s second book, titled “Home and Away”, will be published in the near future.
