| Draft Tree Bylaw |
The District is in the process of reviewing its Tree Protection Bylaw. Some important proposed changes include protection of certain species of trees and a reduction in the number of trees that may be cut each year by property owners.
An Open House was held on September 26th at the Municipal Hall to inform the public of the proposed changes and solicit feedback. The feedback received will be summarized in a report to Council.
Copies of the draft Tree Bylaw are available through the Municipal Hall as well as an overview of the Proposed Changes. You are still welcome to e-mail or mail your comments to the District.
