June 19 Open House
The North Saanich Parks Commission would like to thank all residents who attended the Parks Plan Open House on Saturday, June 19. We enjoyed the afternoon of conversation with people who are clearly interested in the District's Parks Program. The input provided through the conversations and the project ranking sheets will be very helpful in compiling a prioritzed list of recommended Parks improvement projects that will be one of the key elements in the 2010 Draft Parks Plan.
For residents that were not able to attend the open house, please visit the pages within this section of the website for information supplied at the open house. Among the information is the Proposed Parks Project Ranking Sheet. The ranking sheet will be available online or from the Municipal Hall until Friday, July 16. Your input is valued and appreciated.
Over the summer the Parks Commission will be studying the input received from the questionnaire sent out with the May Parks Newsletter and from the open house. A brief report on the results of this study, including a preliminary list of recommended projects, will be posted on the District Website sometime in September.
