The District of North Saanich Parks Commission has been appointed by Council, to review current park issues, put forward recommendations for improvements, and future park amenities that meet the needs and demands of local residents. The North Saanich Council has recently asked the Parks Commission to develop a 25 year strategic Parks Plan to begin in 2011.
| As part of the planning process, our key goals are to: |

Document and describe the list of the current amenities; parks, trails, cycle lanes, beach accesses, viewpoints, sports fields, green space, and playgrounds. |

Consult residents and propose future improvements and additions to park amenities. |

Recommend a plan and a schedule to achieve new projects in a timely manner. |
