Little League Field of Dreams
Developed in 1992, this park is a prime example of the District's dedication, cooperation and commitment to the youth of North Saanich and Sidney. Located on airport land, the property is owned by the Federal Government. A local farmer gave up part of his his long term lease to provide the site for this very popular facility. Construction costs were provided by the Sidney Rotary Club and many private and business donations. The District of North Saanich and the Town of Sidney share the annual maintenance costs and have an agreement with the local Little League organization.
