Cy Hampson Park is named for the avid conservationist and biologist who lived adjacent to the park for 30 years. Located on
Lochside Drive
, it is a wheelchair-accessible waterfront park with magnificent view, open fields for playing and a dog-walking area. Dogs are permitted on the ocean side of
Lochside Drive
of Cy Hampson Park on condition that they are kept on a leash at all times. Funds recieved from the Provincial Capital Commission have helped to develop this park.
The District has recently aquired the roperty to the west of the park on the other side of Lochside Drive. This is a popular off-leash area for many dog owners.
