The District of North Saanich is rich with environmental treasures and we invite you to enjoy the bounty that nature has provided. From delicate wildflowers, gnarled Arbutus and majestic
Douglas
firs, to deer, eagles, ravens, swans, herons, ducks, seals, dolphins and even the occasional whale, there is always a new thrill awaiting the adventurous.
At present, the District has 26 developed parks and approximately 25 kilometres of walking trails. With four main waterfront parks, as well as numerous developed beach accesses around the municipality, our waterfront is accessible wherever the terrain allows.
The Infrastructure Services department is responsible for the management of parks and trails within the District. |
