| Burnable and Green Waste Drop-off Program |
The drop-off for burnable material and green waste is located at the municipal pit on Littlewood Road (north off Mills Road).
Burnable material refers to waste wood products.
Green waste typically consists of tree branches and/or garden clippings. Clean Construction Waste Construction debris recycled at the North Saanich disposal site is ground and transported to be used as a renewable energy source. Some materials pose a risk of damage to equipment grinder blades and create a safety hazard. Please ensure you have removed all metals before dropping off wood waste. These include door knobs, hinges, brackets, spikes, etc. Materials NOT accepted for construciton debris recycling include:

Glass | This drop-off service is available year round on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and the 2nd and 4th Thursday from March through October from 8:00 a.m. to noon.

4 and 18 | Participation is limited to residents of North Saanich only (confirmation by driver’s license may be required). No commercial loads will be accepted.
The drop-off rates are $10.00 per pick-up (or utility trailer) or $5.00 per car load.
Please tarp or secure all loads. An increasing number of vehicles are arriving with unsafe and /or unsecured loads. The Motor Vehicle Act excerpts outlines the requirements to secure loads.
