Infrastructure Services reviews and approves applications for bicycle, running races, or any event on streets, sidewalks or in any public space in the District of North Saanich. Special Events held on private lands such as weddings or gatherings that will be serving liquor on the premise, will also require a Special Occassion licence from the District.  If you anticipate that your proposed event will require the temporary use of municipal property, you should contact the Public Works Administrative Assistant, Sarah Fairbrass, Infrastructure Services 250-655-5480 to obtain an application for approval.
