Computer Network

Manage the purchase, installation and maintenance of all computer hardware
including, network servers, computer systems and printers |

Manage the purchase, installation and support of all software applications
and mobile communication devices |

Provide long term planning and establish budget requirements related to the
District’s technical infrastructure |

Coordinate the use of contracted services for technical support related to
the District’s computer network |

Research new technologies and applications and assess their potential benefit
to the District |
Geographic Information System

Update the District’s digital base mapping with legal property boundaries and
other property based information as required, ensuring the District’s high standards
for accuracy are maintained |

Manage the development and maintenance of the District’s GIS to provide the District’s
various departments with an efficient way to access mapping and property based information |

• |
Coordinate the use of contracted services for GIS development and technical support |
Municipal Website
|
• |
Manage the development and maintenance of the District’s website |
|
• |
Provide content management training for the staff members responsible for updating
the District’s website |
