Under the direction of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), the District is comprised of six main Departments that are managed by the senior management team. Management staff meets on a regular basis to discuss District wide issues and discuss potential solutions to administrative or operational problems. Options are also presented to the CAO on policy development. The CAO is responsible for presenting options and recommendations to the District’s Mayor and Council for their review. Members of the senior management team are responsible to the CAO for the effective and efficient operation of their respective Departments.
